It’s One Of The Cutest Creatures On Earth, And You’ve Never Heard Of It
This is the jorunna parva, a variety of sea slug related to the colorful nudibranch.
For reasons you can probably guess, this slug is popularly known as the “sea bunny.”
Native to the waters around Japan and the Philippines, sea bunnies are only about two centimeters long.
They appear to be fuzzy, with ears and a tail… Right?
None of those things are true. These are, after all, sea creatures. Sadly they’ll still feel like a slug.
Their “ears” are called rhinophores, which are actually more like noses than ears, believe it or not.
