The octopus is a creepy creature of the night. As a species, they’re largely nocturnal. It’s not often that we get a glimpse into what they do all day. A crew of divers finally observed what the veined octopus does during the day, and it totally explains why you never really see them until the sun goes down.
What a clever little cephalopod. Who knew that octopi hid as shelled crustaceans during the day? Okay, probably marine biologists, but not many of us are privy to what they’re up to. Pretty amazing, right?
