Marc Anthony is making things permanent with his new 24-year-old hottie — by branding himself with a tattoo of the Statue of Liberty … a tribute to his GF and his new found “freedom.”
Sources close to the singer tell TMZ … Venezuelan model Shannon De Lima was with Marc when a spot-on replica of Lady Liberty was tatted inside his right wrist on New Year‘s Eve in Miami. Marc’s 17-year-old daughter Ariana (above, right) was also front and center.
We’re told “Statue of Liberty” is Marc’s pet name for Shannon … because she “freed” him from his past. While he was at it — Marc and Ariana also got unspecified matching tats on their outer wrists.
Fun fact: A “Jennifer” tattoo used to be on Marc’s right wrist. Let freedom ring.

Eva Longoria and Eduardo Cruz hit up Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in LA last night for the premiere ofKate Beckinsale‘s latest film Underworld: Awakening. Kate and Eva are close pals and even cohosted Victoria Beckham’s baby shower last Summer. Their circle of friends has a lot to celebrate this week! Kate’s movie hits theaters today, and it was just confirmed that the Beckhams are staying in LA for at least two more years. David signed a new deal with the Galaxy, so it’s possible we’ll see Eva and Posh enjoying future games from the Beckhams’ private box.
Mark Wahlberg Talks 9/11 Comments, Apologizes, Slams Reporter
Mark Wahlberg has once again apologized for making controversial comments about September 11th in the new issue of Men’s Journal, and is now calling into question the journalist who wrote the story, as well.
Wahlberg told the writer that he would have fought off the terrorists had he been on one of the hijacked planes on September 11th, 2001. The comment was taken out of context, he told a number of radio interviewers.
“I don’t go out doing publicity for movies or a magazine cover talking about what’s important to me,” he told the Kidd Kraddick Radio Show. “I want to promote the movie and whatever questions they want to ask me I am more than comfortable talking about. But it wasn’t a Q&A where it was the exact question and my exact response. It was somebody’s interpretation of it and you know… that’s not OK because I don’t want people to be offended. I would never do that.”
He was also upset about the sexual questions that were raised in the interview.
“This guy is asking me about sexual questions and I’m married and I have 4 kids, how inappropriate is that?” he commented.
Still, he understands that, as printed, his words did offend people. He completely understands the uproar, he said, and apologized once again.
“I’m not trying to duck and hide. I will certainly continue to apologize to anybody that I offended because that was never my intention,” he told the Jojo, Reagan and the Mix Morning Show in Baltimore. “Anybody who was on those planes was a hero. And you want to do anything you can do to prevent something like that from happening. Being somebody who at one point was scheduled to be on one of those flights, I get asked about it a lot and that was the gist of it.”

Jay-Z’s 40/40 club shut down for health violations, faces ‘C’ grade
Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club was shut down for a slew of health-code violations just a day after its celebrity-drenched $10 million relaunch — and now it faces a dreaded “C” grade, The Post has learned.
An inspector found perishable food at dangerously warm temperatures inside the walk-in refrigerator and discovered “hot” food left out on the counter on Thursday, Health Department sources said.
A worker was also seen mixing salsa with his bare hands.

The refrigerator was at a rancid 60 degrees instead of 41 — jeopardizing the safety of 50 pounds of raw chicken wings, five pounds of raw shrimp and 100 turkey burgers, the sources said.
Five pounds of cooked mashed potatoes, meanwhile, were left out at a temperature of 89 degrees, while 10 pounds of cooked rice and 50 turkey burgers were kept at 67 degrees.
All the hot foods should be at least 140 degrees, the sources said.
The club’s restaurant was immediately closed, and new patrons were barred from entering. Those already inside were allowed to remain.
“If you have a walk-in place with food like this, you put a hell of a lot of people at risk,” said the source. “A night of dinner and dancing should not include the risk of contracting food-borne illness.”
The nightspot corrected the problem and was cleared for business last night.
A night earlier, the hip-hop mogul held an A-list party to reopen the hotspot, which was closed for 10 months for a $10 million makeover. Famous guests included Russell Simmons, Spike Lee, Lance Bass and Warren Buffett.
Ron Berkowitz, a spokesman for the club, insisted there “was no interruption in service or sales.”
However, problems could be looming for 40/40. The inspector gave the club 69 violation points, far in excess of the 28 needed for a worst-possible “C” grade, and they’ll be adjudicated at a hearing next month.
During its last inspection, in March, before the facelift, the club racked up 39 violation points for problems including improperly handled food and unsanitary conditions.
Heidi Klum and Seal to Divorce?
Heidi Klum and Seal plan to file for divorce in Los Angeles Superior Court this coming week, according to TMZ.
The couple were married in Mexico in 2005 after having met the previous year.
There has been no comment from their reps.
The two were reportedly last seen together on Dec. 27, when the supermodel-mom Tweeted a photo of herself and her musician husband in Aspen, reports theDaily Mail.
Project Runway star Klum, 38, was previously married to celebrity hairstylist Ric Pipino and had a daughter – Leni, now 7 – with Italian entrepreneur Flavio Briatore.
She and Seal, 48, had three children together: Henry Günther, 6, Johan Riley, 5, and Lou, 2.
When she was pregnant with daughter Lou, Klum said of her marriage, “When we’re home, we’re cooking and doing things with the kids, driving them to school. We do the things that everyone has to do.”
Katy Perry Unfollows Russell Brand on Twitter
Katy Perry is cutting ties with Russell Brand in EVERY WAY.
The 27-year-old pop singer has unfollowed her soon-to-be ex-husband on Twitter. As of Friday afternoon (a slow news Friday afternoon) Perry no longer follows Brad.
She is still one of the 78 people Brand subscribes to however.
It’s not surprising, given that Perry is only communicating with Brand, 36, via phone or email. “She’s limiting those interactions,” a source says of the couple.
“He’s being so atrocious, she feels like she never really knew him.”
Perry has been keeping Brand off her mind by focusing on her career: she performed in Jakarta, Indonesia, on Thursday, and she recently shot an Adidas ad.
“She doesn’t want to look battered and have people for sorry for her,” a source says. “She’s very strong and confident and looking forward to the next chapter.”
She’s the most cheat-worthy star on the planet according to married guys, if she ever needs a little confidence boost. Or some amoral companionship.
O.J. Simpson Reportedly Khloe Kardashian’s Biological Father???
An anonymous source reportedly dished to the Enquirer that O.J. Simpson is reportedly Khloe Kardashian’s biological father and that the late Robert Kardashian is not.
The latest reports from the tabloid indicate that Khloe’s mom, Kris Jenner, reportedly had several steamy moments with the womanizing Simpson and one of which during 1983 resulted in the conception of Khloe. Wait…there’s more: O.J. frequently bragged to confidants and comrades that he had many “female conquests” which included “many of his best friends’ wives” and that he had a “secret love child.” To worsen matters, O.J. was an usher at Kris and Robert Kardashian’s wedding then went on to “not murder” his wife Nicole, dabbled in kidnapping and armed robbery, and now spends his time in a Nevada prison.

Etta James Dies at 73
Etta James, the powerful blues voice behind the chart-topping 1961 evergreen “At Last,” has died after a lengthy struggle with leukemia. She was 73.
Her longtime friend and manager, Lupe De Leon, first confirmed the news to CNN. “This is a tremendous loss for the family, her friends and fans around the world,” De Leon said.
“She was a true original who could sing it all – her music defied category. I worked with Etta for over 30 years. She was my friend and I will miss her always.”
Because of her health concerns, James had curtailed her concerts in January 2010 to enter the hospital with a blood infection, among other ailments, including Alzheimer’s disease.
In May 2011, James was again admitted to a hospital in Riverside, Calif., with a urinary tract infection and the blood infection sepsis, her son Sametto James told Reuters at the time.
The winner of four Grammys and a 1993 inductee to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, James was portrayed in the 2008 movie Cadillac Records byBeyoncé Knowles. Christina Aguilera also cited James as a major influence.
“There’s a lot going on in Etta James’s voice,” Bonnie Raitt once told Rolling Stone, which ranked James 22nd on its list of the 100 Best Singers of All Time. “A lot of pain, a lot of life but, most of all, a lot of strength. She can be so raucous and down one song, and then break your heart with her subtlety and finesse the next. As raw as Etta is, there’s a great intelligence and wisdom in her singing.”
